New resources launched to answer Canadian questions about where food comes from
(Guelph) November 18, 2014 - The Farm & Food Care Foundation has launched a new edition of the popular publication “The Real Dirt on Farming”, which answers Canadians’ questions about food and farming, and tackles hot topics – like pesticides, antibiotics, hormones and GMOs – head on.
CropLife Canada to partner with Farm & Food Care Foundation
(Guelph) October 31st, 2014 - The Farm & Food Care Foundation, a charity with a mandate to enhance public trust in food and farming across Canada, has received a contribution of $100,000 from CropLife Canada. The entire amount will be put towards the Real Dirt on Farming project which will be launched in November.
Winners announced in inaugural national farm photo contest
(Guelph) July 30, 2014 - Winners have been announced in the Farm & Food Care Foundation’s inaugural Farm Photo Contest. The contest which ran from early May until the end of June gave photographers the chance to enter their farm photography in six categories – All About Animals, Canadian Farm Scenes, Crazy About Crops, Farm Faces, Farm Fun and Farm Innovation.
